The most exciting, and perhaps the most sought after toy of the day was the app controlled BB-8 droid – which looks adorable, might I add! Check out the product gallery here. (Via Nerdist)

Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children Teaser

This week in celebration of “Loop Day” we got our first peak at Tim Burton’s adaptation of the popular Ransom Riggs novel Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. “Loop Day” refers to September 3, 1940 the time loop that Miss Peregrine’s is located in. This simple teaser was definitely peculiar, especially for those not familiar with the novel, but if you’re anxious to see the movie (like I am) you’ll have to wait…it’s not set for release until March 4, 2016. (Via Entertainment Weekly)

That’s it for this week. Let me know in the comments what your favourite Wes Craven movie is (mine is Nightmare on Elm Street), and as always what your favourite nerdy news of the week was. See you next week!
