The writers promise we won’t be getting another origin story with the new film and instead they will be focusing more on the ups and downs that come with learning how to deal with suddenly gaining superpowers; a story that’s a little more grounded. Calling all creative types, Chris Pratt wants you to design his new Cover Photo! Pratt posted this on his Facebook page:

“…so. i need a header. which looks like it would be 1 tall x 3.5 wide.

I’m looking to have Peter Quill, Owen, Andy and Emmet in the mix. possibly some other fun stuff including but not limited to previous roles, my family, eagles, american flags, guns, cool ford raptors, cigars, explosions, anything sly stallone, bloodsport, early steven segal, anything that looks bad ass and will say, “Hey this facebookprofile is chris’s and this is what he’s all about.” maybe some raptors, or even some largemouth bass or deer or trophy elk, maybe some cool guns or rollerblades or possibly even a nascar or a steak maybe even some corndogs. don’t ask me! you decide!”

He’s offered up a dinner at Applebee’s and of course the bragging rights that come along with having your work displayed on Chris Pratt’s social media page. Check out some of the hilarious submissions here. (Via The Mary Sue)

  1. Another Blogging101 student here — and also a geek who likes lattes, so I guess I’m in the right place.

Can I just say how much I freaking love it when an actor (or musician or author or whatever) tells their fans, “Here you go. A silly project. DO YOUR WORST.”

  2. Howdy! Found you on blogging 101 and love your “This week in geekdom!” spot! I think you have a great focus and staying consistent by doing a weekly will definitely help! I’m adding you to my feedly reader 🙂
