NEW HEARTHSTONE EXPANSION – THE GRAND TOURNAMENT COMING IN AUGUST

On Wednesday Blizzard announced the latest Hearthstone expansion – The Grand Tournament. The expansion will feature 132 new cards (including new spells and weapons), a new minion keyword inspire which will be activated once a hero power is used, and players can also look forward to a new board. Card packs will be available for pre-purchase this week. More info on the expansion here.

SPACE JAM 2 IN THE WORKS?

90s kids rejoice! Amidst the news that earlier this week Lebron James signed a contract with Warner Brothers, people are speculating that Space Jam 2 will finally happen. According to Nerdist Space Jam 2 has been something Lebron has stated he would love to be a part of for years and with the new contract many are feeling it’s safe to assume this sequel will finally see the light of day.

DC’S BOMBSHELLS PRINT COMICS COMING AUGUST 12

DC’s Bombshells are coming to print comics in August! Despite their pin-up girl aesthetic these bombshells are going to kick ass. With Marguerite Bennett (A-Force) at the helm, DC’s favourite ladies will be the clear heroes of this new series which will be focusing on an alternate version of World War II history. THE SECRET LOVES OF GEEK GIRLS TAKES KICKSTARTER BY STORM!

This Kickstarter, started by Hope Nicholson seems to be all anyone was talking about this week. Officially hitting double its funding goal of $37,000 on July 7th the project went on to raise $122,286 as of it’s deadline yesterday (July 24). The Secret Loves of Geek Girls is an all-female anthology featuring stories and comics about love and sex, dating and fandoms.   2. I must say I’m on the fence when it comes to the Space Jam sequel. Sequels are dangerous and must be approached with caution. So I’m crossing fingers that they don’t ruin the 90s
