Best Comics & Graphic Novels of 2016

Happy New Year everyone! First of all, I hope you all had a fantastic and safe holiday season. It’s been a difficult year for many of us, but I’m hopeful for 2017.  The last half of 2016 was the most difficult for me and as a result blogging had to move to the back burner for a bit, but I’m hoping to return to somewhat regular blogging in 2017! Thank you all for sticking around, you’re the best.

With that being said, comics have been a saviour for me in the dumpster fire that has been 2016. In fact, for the first time comics make up most of what I’ve read this year (I failed miserably at my goodreads book challenge though). For that reason, it was incredibly difficult to narrow down my list of some of the best comics and graphic novels of 2016, but I’ve manged to compile 15 of the best trades, graphic novels, and single issues that I’ve read – with a few titles thrown in that were suggested by you lovely people over on Twitter. Check them out below:

Those are my picks for the best comics and graphic novels of 2016 but I’d love to hear what you’ve been reading, let me know in the comments!

P.S. Blogging is hard guys, a few months off and I feel like I can’t write coherent sentences! I definitely won’t be leaving MONTHS between posts anymore.

    1. It’s just a really cute, quick and funny read – if you like her comics, you’ll obviously like the book it has some of her popular ones but a lot of new stuff as well. It’s definitely a mood booster haha. 🙂
